I grew up in an environment that was very challenging, to say the least. Every person in my immediate family was affected in some way by the harrowing realities of poverty, abuse and commercial sexual exploitation. Many of my family members and close friends were affected by these atrocities at a very young age. There were, and still remain, no welfare agencies for the people to turn to for help. Even those who tried to escape and live a normal life couldn’t, due to a lack of resources, skills or support.

As long as I remember, my dream was to change this reality for my family and anyone I met along the way. On a small scale I was able to impact lives by providing resources to enable individuals to leave the traps of poverty, abuse and enslavement. In recent years I have begun to share the dream with whoever would listen and, as a result, a team of like-minded people is forming. I believe that together we will impact lives on a much greater scale then I ever could do on my own – and that is why I am sharing this dream with you!
